Studio principle
The Ohana Studio primarily stands for togetherness, creativity, fairness, acceptance, individuality and versatility. These principles are reflected in everything we do, our communication, our creative work and our interactions with one another. Anything that contradicts these maxims has no place with us. This means that hatred, intolerance, disrespect, selfishness and discrimination are not welcome here and remain away from our premises.
Before the appointment
It is forbidden to consume alcohol or other drugs on the day before the tattoo appointment, as many substances have an extremely blood-thinning effect. This means that a lot of blood and ink are transported out of the body during the piercing process. This must be avoided.
It is also advisable to get a good night's sleep and eat well before the appointment, as getting a tattoo, even with small jobs, can have an impact on your circulation. It's also not a bad idea to bring something containing sugar or something to eat with you to the appointment.
If you need to take blood-thinning medication, you should stop taking it the day before the piercing and take it again one day after the piercing. The tattoo artist must also be informed early on about taking medication.

down payment
The deposit primarily serves as security for keeping the agreed appointment and will not be refunded!
In addition, the deposit is also a security for the customer that they are really sure that they will have the tattoo done by the artist they have booked
The amount is determined individually in proportion to the total amount of the tattoo and is to be paid after a verbal/written appointment (bank transfer or in cash). We can then officially book the appointment.
Declaration of Consent
The declaration of consent generally releases the tattoo artist from all responsibilities that are not caused by gross misconduct and poor hygiene. Conversely, things that the tattoo artist cannot control (such as healing process, minor errors, return policy) are relieved of the artist's responsibility. In addition, the customer assures the tattoo artist that he does not have any blood-borne diseases, is of legal age and does not consume any blood-thinning substances before the tattoo appointment.

After the appointment
After the tattoo has been completed, the work is covered in a sterile and safe manner (with cling film, a second skin or special wound compresses for larger projects). We will then provide you with care instructions for the healing phase of the tattoo. This also includes long-term care measures.
Make an appointment
We will arrange a consultation or piercing appointment in a personal conversation or via email/Instagram. During a consultation, details about the tattoo will be discussed and, ideally, an appointment will then be arranged. A deposit is due from the customer before the agreement is made (see Deposit section). The appointment will then be booked.
Re-stabbing
If after the tattoo has healed (at least four weeks) the ink has come out of the tattoo, some lines have run or other minor inconsistencies have occurred, we always offer a follow-up appointment. During this appointment, these areas will be largely repaired. If any repairs need to be made afterwards, this will be determined individually depending on the severity of the unplanned healing.
Since these unplanned healings are to a certain extent in the eye of the beholder, there are some exceptions in which we no longer arrange a follow-up appointment. Since we are still talking about human skin, which, from an anatomical point of view, has surface tolerances, very minimal errors (e.g. the point in the pore is not quite right) cannot be repaired by us. According to logic, there will always be inconsistencies that are demonstrably caused by the skin's tolerances. If there are minimal tolerances in the tattoo, we will not accept a follow-up appointment.

We also only guarantee a re-piercing period of one year, as we have to protect ourselves from the aging process of the tattoo itself (logic: so that we don't have to “re-pierce” something in 10 years).
Cancel
The appointment may be canceled no later than 72 hours before the piercing date. If no valid reason for rejection can be proven (e.g. illness - certificate from the doctor, death - we rely on honesty or other unforeseen circumstances, such as car breakdown - photo), we have to withhold part of the money. In such cases, for larger jobs (from €300), we retain 20% of the remaining amount.
Compensation for expenses
If the appointment is not kept without cancellation, we will charge an expense allowance of €70 to offset the material and setup costs. This compensation also applies if you do not appear again several times.
